Zoryana Butenko

Mission.

To revive and develop equestrian sport in Ukraine to improve the health of the nation and foster respect and responsibility in the younger generation.

We strive to make horse riding accessible and interesting for everyone - regardless of age or level of training. After all, equestrian sport builds character, develops the body and gives a unique experience of partnership with an animal.

My team

The heart of the school is our trainers, instructors and specialists who pass on their love for horses and the art of riding to students every day. Each of them has extensive experience, professional achievements and a sincere desire to develop the culture of equestrian sport in Ukraine.

Yulia S. Tretyak

Head coach of the Butenko Stables Country Riding Club
Born in 1986.
I have been involved in equestrian sports since I was 12 years old.
Champion of Ukraine in 2005 in the junior category.
Participant of the World Young Horse Championships (Lanaken, Belgium, 2018).
Winner of international tournaments:
- CSI** Samorin (2023)
- CSI** Arezzo, Italy (2025)
Multiple prize-winner and winner of regional and national show jumping competitions.
I have a degree in Foreign Economic Activity and Management in the Agricultural Sector.
I am a 3rd year student of the second higher education at the Kyiv University of Physical Culture and Sports (Faculty of Equestrian Coaching).
I have the 1st level of FEI (International Equestrian Federation) coaching accreditation.

Andriy Stepanenko

I have been involved in equestrian sports since 2002 (Sumy).
He gained professional experience while working at the Brech stud farm, where for 6 years he trained young, promising horses, many of which later successfully competed in top-level competitions.

He is a prize-winner and regular participant in regional and national tournaments.
For the past 4 years, I have been working as a trainer at the Butenko Stables country riding club, where I train riders of different levels of training.

Veronika Petrova

Born in 2004.

I have been involved in equestrian sports since I was nine years old. Since my teenage years, I have worked at various stables, where I gained a wealth of practical experience as a rider and as a trainer.
He is a vocal and piano teacher by training, but his true calling is equestrianism and working with horses.

I have over 6 years of experience teaching the basics of riding.
Specialisation: working with beginners, children and adult riders.
I accompany athletes from the first training sessions to participation in their first steeplechase competitions.

Oleg Simonov

Born in 1966.

I have been working with horses since 2002 at the equestrian sports complex "Favorit", Crimea, where I organised horse riding tours.
Since 2015, he has been a pony club instructor and beginner trainer at the Butenko Stables country riding club.
I have extensive experience working with children and people who are just starting to get acquainted with equestrian sport, paying special attention to safety, understanding with the horse and developing basic riding skills.

    We offer

    Our school is not just riding lessons, but a whole system of education and leisure, where students discover the world of horses, overcome new challenges and gain self-confidence.

    • classes for children and adults: from beginners to professional show jumping;

    • safe riding lessons, nature walks, individual and group training;

    • pony club for the little ones (age from 5 years)

    • support for participation in competitions.

    Our achievements

    The students of the Butenko Stables riding school have repeatedly won prestigious national and international tournaments. They regularly participate in competitions of various levels, constantly improving their skills and sports qualifications.

    We implement modern teaching methods, closely follow global equestrian trends and actively cooperate with leading European trainers and course designers. This allows our students to gain the most up-to-date knowledge, train in safe and comfortable conditions and unlock their potential.

    We are proud that for many Ukrainian riders, their first riding experience took place at our school. Today they represent various clubs, but their first victories and sporting motivation began here at Butenko Stables, with a team of mentors and our special developmental atmosphere.

    Additionally

    The club has all the conditions for harmonious recreation and training. It combines a riding school, a modern park hotel, a boarding house for horses and a premium restaurant. This complex allows guests not only to go in for equestrian sports, but also to enjoy the comfort of a countryside holiday.
